Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By installing or using PeerScripts ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PeerScripts.

Description of Service

PeerScripts is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered store intelligence, including theme analysis, quality audits, performance monitoring, health dashboards, issue tracking, and discount optimization. Features may change, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

Account Requirements

To use PeerScripts, you must:

• Have an active Shopify store
• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the App
• Use the App to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App without authorization
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App in an abusive manner

Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by PeerScripts and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for its intended purpose. This license does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights.

Your Data

You retain ownership of your data. By using PeerScripts, you grant us a license to access, process, and store your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Payment and Billing

If PeerScripts offers paid features, billing will be handled through Shopify's billing system. You agree to pay all applicable fees and charges. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEERSCRIPTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PeerScripts, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
